What should you do next?
First Magic: the community wiki places the unlock quest at Level 15, Wisdom Peak. Already have Magic? A Magic Reroll changes its element; it is different from wiping a character slot.
Augmentation and evolution are later steps. The wiki lists their starting milestones as Level 50 and Level 70 respectively.

Community reference checked October 30, 2026. Mechanics below come from the player-maintained Clover RPG Wiki’s Magics page, not a developer patch note. Quildra has not independently tested these steps in-game.
- Below Level 15: work toward the first unlock.
- Want another element: read rerolls and the slot-wipe warning.
- Keeping your element: compare augmentation and evolution.
How to unlock your first Magic
The wiki says you can begin the Magic unlock quest at Level 15 at Wisdom Peak. Reaching that level starts the process; it does not mean every quest step is automatically complete.
- Reach Level 15 through your current quests and progression.
- Go to Wisdom Peak and look for the Magic unlock quest.
- Follow the objectives shown in your current game. If they differ from the wiki, use the game’s quest text.

Magic elements and reported roll chances
The wiki lists seven obtainable elements. These are its reported obtainment chances, not a strength ranking or a guarantee about your next roll.
| Magic | Wiki-reported chance |
|---|---|
| Flame | 22% |
| Light | 22% |
| Wind | 20% |
| Lightning | 15% |
| Shadow | 15% |
| Beast | 5% |
| Time | 1% |
Source: Magics — Obtainable Magics, checked October 30. The page describes variants as cosmetic and excludes Spatial from its obtainable list. That community claim is not independent confirmation of the current game configuration.
A lower roll chance does not establish that an element is better for your build. Before spending rerolls, decide whether you want a different element or only a different appearance. This guide does not assign an unsupported “best Magic” tier.
How Magic rerolls differ from a slot wipe
A Magic Reroll changes your Magic element, according to the wiki. Its listed sources include the in-game shop, player trading, and possible drops from Bael, Gladiator and Vaelor. The page does not establish a guaranteed drop, current price or reliable farming rate; check the live item description and trade terms before spending.
A slot wipe is destructive. The wiki also mentions wiping a slot and reaching Level 15 again, but says this loses inventory and progress. Do not treat that as an ordinary reroll button. Read the game’s confirmation screen carefully; this guide does not recommend wiping a developed character just to try another element.
- Changing the element: look for an actual Magic Reroll and read what it changes.
- Keeping progression: avoid a slot reset as a shortcut.
- Chasing a rare result: a listed 1% chance is not a promise that a fixed number of rolls will produce it.
See the community reroll notes for the underlying report.
Grimoire augmentation and evolution
These are separate progression steps in the wiki. A Magic Reroll is not a substitute for either quest.
| Step | Reported milestone | What to check next |
|---|---|---|
| First Magic | Level 15 | Magic unlock quest at Wisdom Peak |
| Augmentation | Level 50 | Augment quest and the Nexus Cathedral laboratory |
| Evolution / Evo Magic | Level 70 | Evo Magic quest objectives |
Augmentation: unlock before equipping
The wiki’s augmentation section describes a Level 50 quest involving the laboratory in Nexus Cathedral and interaction with three Poneglyphs. It reports that the cathedral door code changes; use the clues in your current session rather than an old number copied from a guide.
Evolution: follow the active quest
The evolution section places the Evo Magic quest at Level 70, followed by objectives and a fight against your Magic. Check your actual quest tracker for required totals. Quildra has not verified that the community page’s damage, EXP, boss and player-defeat counts still apply to your version.
